These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of all websites, publications, and digital properties operated by Crown Point Advisory Group LLC (“CPAG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including but not limited to crownpointadvisorygroup.com, middlewayinai.com, middlewayinai.substack.com, and bridgingtheabyss.substack.com (collectively, the “Properties”). By accessing or using any of these properties, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Section 1: Use of the Properties
The Properties are operated by Crown Point Advisory Group LLC. By accessing any Property, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to use any Property for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Properties or their underlying systems, reproduce or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission, or transmit any unsolicited communications or harmful code.
Section 2: Intellectual Property
All original content published across the Properties, including articles, analyses, frameworks, methodologies, visual assets, and written works, is the property of Crown Point Advisory Group LLC unless otherwise noted. All rights are reserved. The following trademarks and brands are the property of Crown Point Advisory Group LLC: Crown Point Advisory Group, The Middle Way in AI, Bridging the Abyss, Resolution as a Service (RaaS), and Functional Auditability. Unauthorized use of any of the above is prohibited.
Section 3: AI-Assisted Content
Content published across the Properties is developed by Andrew Miller with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. These tools support research, drafting, editing, and content development. All content is reviewed, directed, and editorially controlled by a human author. AI tools do not independently author, publish, or make editorial decisions for any Property. The use of AI assistance does not diminish the intellectual property rights of Crown Point Advisory Group LLC in the resulting content.
Section 4: User-Generated Content and Collaborative Contributions
4.1 Ownership of Contributions
By submitting, posting, or sharing any comments, feedback, data, text, or ideas (collectively, “Contributions”) to any Property, you expressly acknowledge and agree that such Contributions are provided on a non-confidential basis. You hereby grant Crown Point Advisory Group LLC a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, and fully sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such Contributions in any media, including but not limited to the published works Bridging the Abyss: Navigating the AGI Transition and related publications and derivative works.
4.2 Waiver of Intellectual Property Rights
You agree that you shall have no recourse against Crown Point Advisory Group LLC for any alleged or actual infringement or misappropriation of any proprietary right in your Contributions. You waive any moral rights or rights of attribution in your Contributions, though Crown Point Advisory Group LLC may, at its sole discretion, choose to acknowledge individual contributors. You acknowledge that you will receive no financial compensation, royalties, or equity in Crown Point Advisory Group LLC or any Work in exchange for your Contributions.
4.3 No Joint Authorship or Partnership
Your submission of Contributions does not create a joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship between you and Crown Point Advisory Group LLC or Andrew Victor Miller. You agree that you are not a co-author of any Work under U.S. Copyright Law or any other jurisdiction’s intellectual property statutes.
4.4 Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that: (i) you own or control all rights to the Contributions you submit; (ii) the Contributions are accurate to the best of your knowledge and do not violate any third-party confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements; and (iii) the Contributions do not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets of any third party.
Section 5: Disclaimer
Content published across the Properties represents the independent analysis and opinion of Andrew Miller and Crown Point Advisory Group LLC. Nothing published on any Property constitutes financial, legal, investment, medical, or professional advice of any kind. You should consult a qualified professional before making any decision based on content from the Properties.
Section 6: No Warranties
The Properties are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Section 7: Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crown Point Advisory Group LLC and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Properties or any content therein.
Section 8: Third-Party Platforms
Certain Properties are hosted on or distributed through third-party platforms including Substack, Netlify, and GitHub. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Crown Point Advisory Group LLC is not responsible for the practices of third-party platforms.
Section 9: Email and Subscriber Communications
By subscribing to any publication operated by Crown Point Advisory Group LLC, you consent to receive email communications related to that publication. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. Crown Point Advisory Group LLC does not sell or share subscriber email addresses with third parties for marketing purposes.
Section 10: Changes to These Terms
Crown Point Advisory Group LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The date of the most recent revision will be noted at the top of this document. Continued use of any Property following the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Section 11: Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
